We’re seeking Annuities Advisors who serve with intention — professionals who lead with empathy, think strategically, and act with care. This role is ideal for those ready to elevate their purpose while being part of something larger than a firm — a movement designed to unite people, knowledge, and resources.
This is a commission-only opportunity for entrepreneurial advisors who want to build their own book of business while leveraging Ai Merchantry’s proprietary tools, branded programs, and community-driven support network.
Collaborate with Advisors to deliver retirement income solutions and holistic planning, with increasing ownership of client relationships.
Demonstrate advanced fluency in annuity products — Fixed, Indexed, Immediate, and Variable — as well as riders, income strategies, and suitability processes.
Contribute to personalized recommendations, including income planning, rollover strategies, and portfolio allocations that align with client goals.
Support client meetings by preparing income illustrations, documenting discussions, and driving timely follow-up.
Mentor junior team members on annuity basics and compliance standards, modeling best practices.
Act as a secondary advisor on retirement cases, progressing toward independent client management.
Advance execution skills by handling annuity applications, transfers, and suitability reviews with growing independence.
Understand and manage processes, including rollover paperwork, client agreements, and carrier submission standards.
Maintain strong COI (Centers of Influence) relationships, supporting client team revenue and community-based outreach.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced education a plus
4–8 years of financial services, retirement planning, or insurance experience (or equivalent sales experience)
An active state insurance license with Annuities certification (NAIC-approved)
In-depth knowledge of annuity products, retirement planning strategies, and suitability processes
Proficiency with planning and illustration software (Ensight, Asset-Map™, MoneyGuidePro, etc.) and platforms like Salesforce, DocuSign, and Microsoft 365
Strong communication and presentation skills — comfortable simplifying complex products for clients
Client-Centered Education – Makes complex retirement income concepts easy to understand
Ownership Mindset – Takes initiative in building and servicing a personal book of business
Analytical Precision – Strong ability to compare product options and illustrate retirement outcomes
Relationship Management – Builds long-term trust with clients and referral partners

Ethical Standards – Acts with integrity, always prioritizing the client’s best interest
This position description provides a general overview of the expectations and responsibilities of the role. As our business continues to evolve, additional responsibilities may be introduced or adjusted to reflect the dynamic needs of our clients, partners, and advisors. Advisors are expected to embrace flexibility, growth, and innovation as they build their book of business within the Ai Merchantry framework.
This is a 100% commission-based role. Advisors are compensated directly by carrier partners based on product type, premium amount, and contract level.
Income potential is determined by:
New annuity placements (Fixed, Indexed, Immediate, or Variable)
Rollover business (401(k), IRA, pensions)
Client retention and repeat business through annual reviews
Participation in Ai Merchantry events and lead-generation programs

Annual client reviews, ongoing service, and policy adjustments create renewal commissions and long-term growth
Lead Generation & Marketing
Leveraging Ai Merchantry’s branded tools — LifeLink™, CuriosityQuote™, Ensight, GoHighLevel funnels
Participating in events such as Blueprints to Black Wealth™, BOSS™, We-LL Care™, and Protected Tomorrows™
Community & COI Engagement
Building relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) like CPAs, attorneys, real estate professionals, and faith-based leaders to expand your reach
Consistency & Activity
Advisors who consistently schedule appointments, run illustrations, and follow up see their income scale exponentially over time
Flexible, remote-friendly position with options for virtual or in-person meetings
Requires extended computer use for illustrations, proposals, and client communication
Occasional light lifting (under 15 lbs) of marketing materials or event supplies

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must hold or obtain appropriate state insurance and/or financial licenses
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Ai Merchantry™ may request verification of identity and work authorization in accordance with I-9 and E-Verify standards
Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of our commitment to professionalism, ethics, and fiduciary integrity
May be asked to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreement to protect client relationships and brand standards
