We’re seeking Financial Advisors who want to serve with intention — those who lead with empathy, think strategically, and act with care. This role is ideal for professionals ready to elevate their purpose while being part of something larger than a firm — a movement.

This is a commission-only, entrepreneurial role designed for professionals who want to specialize in long-term care solutions. As part of Ai Merchantry’s fractional family office model, you’ll educate, guide, and empower clients with clarity, compassion, and integrity.

Role Expectations — Long-Term Care Advisor

  • Educate Clients — Help families understand the importance of long-term care (LTC), available options, and the financial impact of care needs.

  • Design Personalized Solutions — Recommend LTC insurance, hybrid life/LTC products, and linked-benefit strategies that align with client goals.

  • Collaborate with Advisors — Partner with Ai Merchantry Financial, IUL, and Retirement Advisors to integrate LTC into holistic planning.

  • Conduct Client Reviews — Provide annual plan updates to ensure clients’ LTC strategies evolve with their needs.

  • Lead & Support Events — Co-host educational workshops and webinars, including Ai Merchantry’s We-LL Care™ program.

  • Manage Applications & Suitability — Ensure all LTC recommendations meet state compliance, carrier standards, and ethical practices.

  • Build & Maintain a Book of Business — Take ownership of client relationships, follow-ups, and retention strategies.

  • Expand Community Engagement — Connect with elder law attorneys, healthcare professionals, and Centers of Influence (COIs) to create referral opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced education a plus

  • 3–6 years of experience in insurance, retirement planning, or healthcare-related financial planning (preferred)

  • Active Life & Health license with LTC partnership certification (where required by state)

  • In-depth knowledge of traditional LTC insurance, hybrid LTC/Life, and annuity-linked products

  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid planning basics, and elder care considerations a plus

  • Proficiency with planning tools such as Asset-Map™, Ensight™, Salesforce, DocuSign, and Microsoft 365

  • Strong communication and empathy skills — able to discuss sensitive family planning topics with care

Role Structure & Earning Opportunity

This is an independent, commission-only role — ideal for entrepreneurial professionals passionate about helping families prepare for the costs and realities of long-term care.

Your earnings are not capped by a salary — they are determined by your ability to educate clients, design solutions, and build relationships.

As a Long-Term Care Advisor, your income is determined by:

  • New LTC policy placements (traditional, hybrid, and linked-benefit products)

  • Premium volume and case design (single-pay, multi-pay, or hybrid strategies)

  • Annual reviews and retention strategies that generate renewal commissions

  • Community engagement and events, including Ai Merchantry’s We-LL Care™ program

  • Collaboration with advisors and COIs to integrate LTC into broader planning opportunities

There is no base salary. Compensation is 100% commission-based and directly aligned with your effort, activity, and client trust. Many LTC Advisors generate six-figure income potential within 18–36 months with consistent outreach and service.

How Compensation Works

  • Carrier-Paid Commissions – Compensation is paid directly by long-term care insurance carriers and financial partners, based on product type and premium amount.

  • Policy Placement Volume – Income scales with the number of traditional LTC, hybrid life/LTC, and annuity-linked products placed.

  • Premium Size & Case Design – Larger premiums, shared-care riders, and asset-based strategies often generate higher commission opportunities.

  • Renewal Commissions – Annual client reviews, policy servicing, and ongoing care planning create recurring revenue streams.

  • Cross-Selling Opportunities – Collaboration with Ai Merchantry’s Financial, Retirement, and IUL Advisors leads to additional income through holistic planning.

  • Event Participation – Co-hosting Ai Merchantry programs such as We-LL Care™ and community LTC workshops often generate warm leads and commissionable opportunities.

Earning Potential

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ai Merchantry™ is a platform that empowers licensed professionals to build their own book of business while leveraging digital tools, strategic partnerships, and flexible support models.

This is a remote-friendly, commission-only opportunity, allowing advisors to work from a location of their choice. While the majority of tasks can be performed virtually, the role does require:

  • The ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer for daily planning and client communication

  • Occasional in-person meetings, events, or seminars (as scheduled by you or your team)

  • Comfort handling light materials such as marketing kits, iPads, or promotional materials (typically under 15 pounds)

To engage with Ai Merchantry™ as a licensed financial advisor, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must hold or obtain appropriate state insurance and/or financial licenses

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Ai Merchantry™ may request verification of identity and work authorization in accordance with I-9 and E-Verify standards

  • Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of our commitment to professionalism, ethics, and fiduciary integrity

  • May be asked to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreement to protect client relationships and brand standards
