We’re seeking Retirement Advisors who want to serve with intention — professionals who lead with empathy, think strategically, and act with care. This role is ideal for those ready to elevate their purpose while being part of something larger than a firm — a movement designed to unite people, knowledge, and resources.

This is a commission-only, entrepreneurial role for professionals who want to build a retirement-focused book of business while leveraging Ai Merchantry’s tools, branded programs, and community network. You’ll have the freedom to grow independently with the support of a platform designed for holistic, values-based planning.

Key Focus Areas for Ai Merchantry Retirement Advisors:

  • Client Education – Help clients understand retirement income planning, Social Security optimization, Medicare choices, and legacy considerations.

  • Income Strategies – Develop and present personalized plans using annuities, IUL, pensions, and other retirement vehicles.

  • Tax-Efficient Planning – Work with advisors and subject matter experts to integrate strategies that minimize tax burdens in retirement.

  • Holistic Approach – Collaborate with Ai Merchantry’s fractional family office network (CPAs, attorneys, financial planners) to deliver well-rounded retirement solutions.

  • Event Participation – Co-host educational events and webinars such as Patrick Kelly’s Tax-Free Retirement™ series and Ai Merchantry workshops.

  • Ongoing Reviews – Conduct annual retirement plan reviews and adjust strategies as clients’ goals and market conditions evolve.

  • Compliance & Suitability – Ensure all retirement strategies meet state, federal, and carrier compliance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced education a plus

  • 4–8 years of experience in retirement planning, financial services, or insurance sales (preferred)

  • Active Life & Health insurance license (Series 65/66 or equivalent a plus)

  • Advanced knowledge of retirement income strategies, annuities, IUL, Social Security, and Medicare integration

  • Proficiency with tools like Asset-Map™, Ensight™, Salesforce, DocuSign, and Microsoft 365

  • Strong communication and presentation skills — able to simplify complex strategies for clients

  • Conduct Policy & Plan Reviews — Provide annual retirement check-ins, ensuring strategies stay aligned with evolving goals and market conditions.

  • Support Advisor Teams — Partner with Life, Health, Annuities, and IUL Advisors to deliver integrated retirement solutions.

  • Lead Events & Webinars — Engage in educational outreach, including Patrick Kelly’s Tax-Free Retirement™ series and Ai Merchantry community workshops.

  • Maintain Compliance — Ensure all recommendations meet suitability, ethical, and carrier-specific guidelines.

  • Build & Manage a Book of Business — Take ownership of your retirement-focused practice, cultivating trust and consistency with every client served.

Role Structure & Earning Opportunity — Retirement Advisor

This role is designed for entrepreneurial professionals who want to specialize in retirement income planning and legacy strategies. At Ai Merchantry™, you’ll operate as an independent, commission-only advisor with access to our tools, training, and community-driven programs.

Your earnings are not capped by a salary — they are determined by your ability to educate clients, design strategies, and build long-term relationships. The more intentional you are in building your book of business, the greater your growth potential.

As a Retirement Advisor, your income is determined by:

  • New client engagements in retirement planning, annuities, IUL, LTC, and Medicare

  • Rollover business from 401(k), IRA, pension, and other retirement accounts

  • Annual reviews & retention strategies that create renewal commissions and deepen trust

  • Participation in Ai Merchantry workshops and webinars, including Patrick Kelly’s Tax-Free Retirement™ series and other branded programs

  • Community & partnership engagement that generates referrals and expands your market reach

There is no base salary. Compensation is 100% commission-based, scalable, and directly aligned with your effort, consistency, and commitment. Many Retirement Advisors build six-figure incomes within 18–36 months and continue scaling from there.

Compensation & Commission Structure

This is a 100% commission-based role. Compensation is paid directly through carriers and financial partners, based on product type, premium amount, and case strategy.

Income is determined by:

  • New retirement planning engagements (annuities, IUL, LTC, Medicare, etc.)

  • Rollover business from 401(k), IRA, and pension accounts

  • Client retention and additional strategies uncovered through annual reviews

  • Participation in Ai Merchantry programs and events that generate qualified leads

There is no base salary and no income cap. Earnings are directly aligned with your ability to educate, plan, and build client trust.

    • Transferring assets from 401(k)s, IRAs, and pensions into annuities, IUL, or other retirement vehicles.

    • The premium size and volume of rollover accounts directly impact earnings.

  3. Product Mix & Case Design

    • Compensation varies by the types of solutions implemented — annuities, IUL, LTC, Medicare supplements, and advanced income strategies.

    • More complex cases (tax integration, estate planning, premium financing) often lead to higher value opportunities.

  4. Retention & Annual Reviews

    • Ongoing policy and plan reviews generate renewal commissions while strengthening client loyalty.

    • Retained clients often expand into additional planning opportunities.

  5. Event & Program Participation

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ai Merchantry™ is a platform that empowers licensed professionals to build their own book of business while leveraging digital tools, strategic partnerships, and flexible support models.

This is a remote-friendly, commission-only opportunity, allowing advisors to work from a location of their choice. While the majority of tasks can be performed virtually, the role does require:

  • The ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer for daily planning and client communication

  • Occasional in-person meetings, events, or seminars (as scheduled by you or your team)

  • Comfort handling light materials such as marketing kits, iPads, or promotional materials (typically under 15 pounds)

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

To engage with Ai Merchantry™ as a licensed financial advisor, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must hold or obtain appropriate state insurance and/or financial licenses

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Ai Merchantry™ may request verification of identity and work authorization in accordance with I-9 and E-Verify standards

  • Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of our commitment to professionalism, ethics, and fiduciary integrity

  • May be asked to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreement to protect client relationships and brand standards
