It was born through experience - through success and failure, through growth and hardship, through lessons learned both personally and professionally.

Our founder, Kevin B. Carden, entered the insurance industry at the age of nineteen. Long before the creation of Ai Merchantry Financial™, he was sitting across kitchen tables, listening to families discuss their hopes, concerns, responsibilities, and dreams for the future.

Those early conversations revealed something that would become a guiding principle throughout his career: financial decisions are rarely about products. They are about people.

Behind every policy was a family. Behind every financial decision was a story. Behind every goal was a deeper purpose.

THE ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY

As his career evolved, Kevin pursued entrepreneurship, launching and building businesses across multiple industries.

He experienced the excitement of creating opportunities, developing teams, building brands, and watching ideas become reality.

Like many entrepreneurs, however, the journey was not a straight line.

There were seasons of success and accomplishment. There were also seasons of uncertainty, setbacks, financial loss, bankruptcy, and even homelessness.

Those experiences became some of life's most difficult teachers. They also became some of its most valuable.

LESSONS THAT SHAPED THE MISSION

Through those challenges, Kevin gained a deeper understanding of resilience, perspective, and the importance of trusted relationships. He learned firsthand that success is not defined solely by financial results.

It is shaped by character, relationships, personal growth, and the ability to keep moving forward when circumstances become difficult.

Most importantly, he learned that many people are navigating important financial decisions without the awareness, education, resources, or guidance needed to see the complete picture.

Some people have products but no plan.

Others have advisors but lack coordination. Many are simply unaware of opportunities, risks, or resources that could help them make more informed decisions.
